Fleur de Lis Passage / Fleur de Lis Street

On Thursday 25th January 2018 we received permission from Tower Hamlets Highways to undertake utility trench investigation works along Fleur De Lis Passage and Fleur De Lis Street, which will commence tomorrow (Tuesday 30th January 2018) morning and last approximately two weeks. The purpose of the utility trench investigation works is to accurately establish and locate the existing services which run along and through Fleur De Lis Passage and Fleur De Lis Street.

In total, we will be undertaking 7 investigation pits, the excavation locations are shown below in light blue:

We will be excavating 3 utility trenches along Fleur De Lis Passage and 4 utility trenches along Fleur De Lis Street.

These works are being undertaken by a specialist excavation crew. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times through Fleur De Lis Passage and vehicular access will be maintained at all times along Fleur De Lis Street, with the specialist contractor undertaking these works in a phased manner. Works will commence to the west of Fleur De Lis Passage (see point 1 below) and the progress east along Fleur De Lis Passage and Fleur De Lis Street.

The works to the utility trenches along Fleur De Lis Passage will take approximately 1 day each to complete and the works to the utility trenches along Fleur De Lis Street approximately 2 days per each trench.

Our works shall be re-instated at the end of each working shift and no materials or barriers shall remain on the public path or roadway outside the working hours of Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm. If weekend working is required, the specialist contractor will ensure that only hand tools are used prior to 9am.
