Happy new year from all at the Blossom Street Project Team. We hope you’ve had a good festive period and we appreciate your ongoing feedback on the work we are doing around Blossom Street. Here’s a brief bulletin on upcoming activity in the area.
As mentioned previously, we will be putting up protective hoarding in Fleur-de-Lis Passage, and installation is due to commence early next week. The hoarding panels will be painted white and covered with an anti graffiti coating.
Trading Places artwork – Norton Folgate
We have recently taken down the temporary art installation ‘Trading Places’, which had been on display on Norton Folgate. The panels will be painted black and anti-graffiti coating will be applied before being reinstalled in the near future. We will also be re-painting the existing hoardings and introducing regular graffiti removal on all the buildings. This will help prevent any further accumulation of graffiti.
Meet and Greet – Tuesday 16th January 2018
Lastly, we will be holding a Meet & Greet on Tuesday 16th January at The Water Poet Pub on Folgate Street (6pm – 8pm).
The drop-in event will be held in the Front Dining Room of the Water Poet. This will be an opportunity for you to meet members of the project team, especially some of our newer members who will be taking forward the development of the site. Please do come along and say hello, where you will be able to ask the team any questions in relation to the project.
Just so we have a good idea of how many people to cater for, please can you let us know if you will be attending by replying emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0800 170 7270.
We look forward to seeing you.
If you have any other questions about the project or would like to speak to someone from our team, please feel free to get in touch.
