Here’s a brief update regarding weekend activity around Blossom Street. We hope you find this update helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Blossom Street: Construction Update Meeting – Thursday 29th August 2019
The Cantillon and British Land project team will be available to respond to any queries and provide information on the Blossom Street project works on Thursday 29th August from 6.15pm until 7pm at Loom Court, accessed via Elder Street.
It would be great if you could come along and join us for a glass of wine or coffee, tea and biscuits. The meeting will be informal and give the opportunity for the Cantillon team to answer any questions you may have about the works carried out to date and talk you through what work is planned to happen over the next few months.
The team welcomes your feedback on these monthly meetings so we can try and make sure you receive all the information you need.
If you have any comments or topics you would like us to think about in advance, please contact us via:

Dismantling scaffolding on Shoreditch High Street – 17th and 18th August
We are planning to dismantle another section of scaffolding on Shoreditch High Street on Saturday 17th August and Sunday 18th August.
These works will occur over the pavement on Shoreditch High Street and will need to be carried out during the weekend due to the TfL red route. We have notified TfL of the planned works and have made the necessary precautions to minimise any possible impacts.
We aim to complete the works over the weekend, but if this is not possible we will finish the removal on Saturday 24th August and Sunday 25th August.
UK Power Networks work on Folgate Street – 24th August to 1st September
UK Power Networks will be undertaking works at the end of Folgate Street (leading onto to Shoreditch High Street) and on Norton Folgate. This will start on Saturday 24th August, and will be completed on Sunday 1st September.
This will require the entrance to Folgate Street to be closed to traffic, along with the southbound lane of Shoreditch High Street. All vehicles will need to access via Spital Square. We will be opening the fire gate to provide this access.
