Here’s a brief update regarding activity around Blossom Street. We hope you find this update helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Blossom Street: Upcoming weekend works – 25th, 26th, 27th February 2022

On Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th February 2022, we will be carrying out works on the Blossom Street site, outside of the usual site working hours. This is part of a three-day programme of works to remove one of our site tower cranes. The out of hours site working hours for these days, and the activities which will be undertaken, are outlined below:

• Friday 25th February – 5pm-11.30pm – due to the size of the mobile crane required to dismantle and remove the tower crane TfL impose restrictions on when both the mobile crane and associated support vehicles can transit through London, so will not be able to commence until after 5pm. We are expecting to have completed these works by 11.30pm.
• Saturday 26th February – 6.30am-6pm – On Saturday a further support vehicle will arrive to site at 6.30am as TfL restrictions mean that the vehicle has to be off London roads by 7am. The tower crane will then be dismantled with a planned completion time of 6pm.
• Sunday 27th February – 8am-6pm – On Sunday we will dismantle the mobile crane, these works are planned to complete by 6pm.

There will be a large number of vehicles associated with these works, all of which will need access via the Fleur de Lis Street site entrance.

Please note, that these works are subject to weather conditions, and therefore we have allocated a backup weekend from 4th – 6th March 2022. If weather conditions do interfere with the planned works outlined above, we will notify you as soon as is possible.

Blossom Street: Upcoming weekend works – 12th and 13th March

On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March, we will be dismantling and removing a second tower crane from the site. Again this removal will need to be carried out outside normal working hours, however it will not require a mobile crane or associated heavy vehicles. On both Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March, works will begin at 8am, and are due to complete at 6pm. As with the above works, we have allocated backup dates in case of unfavourable weather conditions. The back up arrangements would be for evening works to take place until 9pm on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th March.

We will endeavour to complete the above works in advance of the times given, and limit disruption as far as we can. If you have any questions or concerns whilst these works are being carried out, please contact David Reed, Site Manager, who will be managing both of these operations, on 07753 830056.

Thank you for your cooperation and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries.
