Here’s a brief update regarding activity around Blossom Street. We hope you find this update helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Update on Out of hours delivery and erection of tower crane on 11th and 12th July from 5:00am

Following on from the successful delivery of supporting crane erection equipment this morning, we will commence erection of the mobile crane from 5am tomorrow so it is operational to commence erecting the tower crane from approximately midday.

We will endeavour to complete the first half of the process by 7pm on Saturday night, however, we have an agreement with London Borough Tower Hamlets to continue works until 10pm, if absolutely needed. Although we do not foresee the need to work until 10pm, this would prevent the need for us to commence earlier on Sunday should we encounter any issues during the erection sequence.

Erection of the tower crane will continue on Sunday 12th July 2020, from 7am, with the final phase to de-rig and remove the attendant mobile crane by 10pm.

TfL have been notified of the planned works and we have made the necessary precautions to ensure there will be minimal impact to local residents.

We will endeavour to complete the above works in advance of the times given above if possible. Thank you for your cooperation and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries.

Kind regards,

Blossom Street Project Team
