Here’s a brief update regarding activity around Blossom Street. We hope you find this update helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Out of hours delivery and erection of tower crane on 10th, 11th and 12th July from 5:00am

Next weekend we will be installing the first of the planned three tower cranes on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2020. This is a significant logistical operation that will require us to access the site via Fleur de Lis Street.

We have been directed by the local authorities and advised by the police to deliver these loads either early morning or evenings due to vehicle size. TfL have been notified of the planned works and we have made the necessary precautions to ensure there will be minimal impact to local residents.

The operation will require the early delivery and set up of a large mobile crane and all supporting equipment on Friday 10th July from 5:00am, where delivery of the first abnormal loads will need to take place under special movement order conditions. The site shall close as normal on Friday no later than 6:00pm.

Further special loads, under movement orders, will be delivered first thing on Saturday 11th July from 5:00am so that the mobile crane is operational to commence erecting the tower crane from approximately midday, these works will continue until 7:00pm.

Erection of the tower crane will continue on Sunday 12th July 2020, with the final phase to de-rig and remove the attendant mobile crane by 10:00pm.

We will endeavour to complete the above works in advance of the times given above if possible. Thank you for your cooperation and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries.

Kind regards,

Blossom Street Project Team
