Here’s a brief update regarding activity around Blossom Street. We hope you find this update helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Blossom Street Site Update
Works are progressing well across the site. The concrete frame works are in progress on all of the buildings and are at different stages of construction.
The next phase of the works will see the installation of the various types of cladding panels to the buildings.
To enable us to deliver and install the cladding panels we will need to create a loading/offloading Pit Lane at the north end of Elder Street between Fleur de Lis Street and Commercial Street which will require a section of road closure.
An application for this loading/offloading Pit Lane has been submitted to, and approved by, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and it will be in place from 13th September 2021. This loading/offloading Pit Lane will be required for a period of up to 12 months.
The extent of this is highlighted in purple on the plan below.
Cycle access (shown in blue) and pedestrian access (shown in green) will remain uninterrupted. Provision will be made to maintain residents’ deliveries to Fleur de Lis Street.
