Here’s a brief update regarding ongoing activity around Blossom Street. We hope you find this update helpful but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Site closure from 20th December 2019 to 2nd January 2020
The development site will be closed over the Christmas period from the end of the working day on Friday 20th December 2019 and will re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2020. Whilst main site works will cease during this time, security will still be active on site and the site manager will be contactable if any concerns arise. If you do need to get in contact over the Christmas period, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will come back to you as soon as possible.
Network Rail pruning maintenance
On Tuesday 24th December 2019 minor pruning works will be carried out in an area of planting within the Network Rail demise. Access to this area will be through the Blossom Street site.
Hoarding update to Folgate Street
The site hoarding along Folgate Street will be updated on Monday 23rd December 2019 to include images and information on historic stories from the local area.
Folgate Street Temporary road closure from 27th December 2019 to 5th January 2020
You will have received a notification from UKPN that there will be a temporary road closure to Folgate from Friday 27th December 2019 up to and including Sunday 5th January 2020. This will enable UKPN carry out the second phase of vital works to power connections around the area.
Access will be maintained via the gate in Spital Square and a Traffic Management Plan will be implemented with a southbound directional closure in place; the diversion route will head along Commercial Street to Aldgate and back into the City.
UKPN are liaising directly with Tower Hamlets regarding carrying out their works, which will require temporary diversion routes to be agreed with LBTH.
